    Max limit is 201.2°F - 94°C

But If your card reach temps higher than 70°C you might check if your cooling system is correctly setup.

    +1
If you are still using EVGA Precision X or Afterburner can help your graphic card keep cooler down by using Temp Limit 'c at 83c will keep you cool or more than 83c it will reach safe max 94. (Not a good idea and best stay at 83c)

When I have play some heavy load game and it reach at about 75ish and didn't touch 80c so I have set at 83c all the time and make sure you have very good cooler case fans inside your case good flow pull in and push out of case it will help your system cooler down

Cooling is a big factor as previously mentioned. I have a 1060 in a Phanteks Evolv ITX case and it has no room to breath. Runs high 70s....

    Hello Christomtom,

When it comes to how high graphics cards temperatures can get this can vary for a better rewording of your question would be what are the safe temps this card can get to. This would be at 83°C anything above this can or may cause issues to the card like crashes, artifacts, and thermal throttling. At this point, you can use our software Precision X OC to help play with fan curves that may help with temps it can also serve as a monitoring program as well.

The temp target is just a temperature the card will try to not go over. The max limit is still 94c. Automatic shutdown temp is a few celsius higher than 94c.
