Here is isotropic idirect satellite internet which we.use at work some times:  We use Verizon a lot more now due to more speed and more data allowance:  Basically, we only fall back on satellite if we can't get cell service at our location. They charge a lot of money for satellite internet too for some reason even though it is so bad.

 Right now I pay $45 a month but that will go up to $55 in 6 or 7 months. I wish I had a higher upload but I can't really complain. Downloading entire games from Steam in 10min is pretty convenient.

u guys all suck...i pay for 8m down and 1.5 up and get around 6 and 1 and its 83 bucks a month.....and its all i can get except 1.5m dsl for 125 a month.....

i pay $30 for 30/5 speeds, atm its showing 60/4  i never see these speeds when downloading any files though rofl

I pay for 75/75  I get these speeds d/l games, files, anything. Steam for instance goes right to full speed and stays there for the whole d/l. Can't complain about FIOS. I can't separate out my internet. A combined internet/cable/phone package is $115 right now. Then there are taxes and extra boxes etc. FIOS has been awesome since I got it. Started at 15/5 and speeds keep going up. You can get 300/300 to your home if you have the money.

 I'm happy with my internet speed. Cox has quadruped my internet speed since I have been with them. Use to be 12Mbps, then it went to 25Mbps, and now its 50Mbps. I pay $60 a month for that speed.

Here's mine at work... supposed to be a FULL 100 each way but i suppose it IS lunch time and people are streaming netflix.  Still doesnt beat the ONE ENTIRE DAY (much downloaded that day) I noticed they had uncapped my cable modem (This was when i was paying for 10Mbps... this was 280Mbps) ....

 Used to be 5ms ping 80mbps up and down, but I have some neighbors in the same building that share it now. It's line of sight, so we have a satellite on the roof, and weather affects it. All told, pretty good deal for $35 a month.

 I re-tested now that it's 2AM and most of the neighbors are asleep. After looking at the Sonic results, I'm starting to wish that I had fiber too.

Ehh.. $140/month includes 4k DirecTV with 4 genies, and NFL Sunday Ticket. I think internet alone is $80.
