So I'm dumb. I signed into Google on a work PC using Firefox and left it logged in. I don't know which one. ( My company literally has over a thousand) It could have been one I used a year or more ago. Yes it's been that long since I changed passwords. As we already established; I am dumb.  I discovered this because some weird stuff came up in my search history today.  I want to make sure that that PC is logged out. I have logged out of all devices and changed my password. with Google, Gmail, Youtube etc. Will that do the trick?

i think if you login there is a spot where you can say "logout other devices"?  but I could be talking about my butt.

You can see devices that have been active on your account in the last 28 days, or are currently signed in here. You can also remove device access on that page.

You should be good but I would recommend changing the password often. At least every 90 days and of course a new one is best but if you can't think of anything easy enough to remember even just some numbers at the start or end can help prevent access.

Also you might consider having a work Google account. At home googling "How to kill boss Wolfenstein" is normal for a gamer but in the workplace it causes people to hide under desks and call security.

Really I have seen people who will freak out over less. I know guy that has an employee call HR when they got back from maternity leave. The reason being the office had bought her a mini fridge and a pump and the manager was going to be working at a cubical to allow her a private place with a locking door. She literally called HR from his office phone because an office reminder was sent out to remind people he would be out of his office and where to find him with the reason why. Nothing happened to him but it reminds me that some people are different.

I personally would set up the work account just because if you mention something like D&D, FPS games or playing Magic The Gathering some people could look at you differently. Really a lot of things can even set someone off so it's best to avoid everything unless you know the coworkers you are talking to and feel it wouldn't offend. If it's a shared work computer figure the next person could be the person opposite of you.

Not much you can do other than change your passwords. I find it hard to believe that in a whole year no one had the decency to just log out of your personal account/s. Definitely change all of your passwords. Specially for online stores and what not. What would worry me more than anything is the fact that people had access to my search history for a year. lol

Changing password will work. Besides its better you already logout from your other devices.
Try to remove device access on that page. Also try to clear the data of search engine history after you done.
In youtube there are lots of videos which you can view to get the trick. ;)
