Nice! One example isn't enough, but it sounds like step ups are running roughly 3-4 weeks based on that?

3-4 weeks based on when I got in the queue.

In this thread people are tracking progress based on the time stamp of step up emails. The data isn't perfect since it's all based on users that self submitted the time but it's got more examples.

Just applied payment for my step up today and got RMA#.- applied back on release day shortly after the site would stop crashing after 6AM.

So 9/17 -> 10/13 for approval. Not a bad turnaround at all.

If you look at the rate EVGA is processing step-ups in the stepup forum, you'll see that the 6 months rate is reasonable. Factoring in people who are signed up but not in the forum. Then the holiday season is around the corner... 6 months to a year is reasonable for someone who signs up today...

I have purchased and stepped up A LOT of cards throughout the years. It WON'T be 6 months to a year, NOT EVEN CLOSE.

The current world pandemic, worldwide distribution/manufacturing completely disrupted, Samsung's yields obviously being a problem, and others all point to the possibility of a 6+ month wait for those signing up in October.  All previous years weren't hampered by such a worldwide event, even if yields were still an issue; it's just not to the scale that it is today.  The 3080 FTW3 Ultra has only moved ~50 minutes in one month.  10am - 11am EST looks to be much larger than the first hour, so probably looking at 2 months to cover that alone.  6 months doesn't seem far off to catch up Just on that sku alone.  And don't forget 3090's queues have barely even budged and EU hasn't moved at All.  This is probably why we got a high end card for step-up for the first time because the yields were too low to distribute among the various skus so the FTW3 Ultra was decided upon.

Same... although it was Sep 24th and 2080 Super, but nothing yet.  Hoping this week's stock is a larger one, but not holding my breath as of this point.

Still waiting for some progress.

Seems EVGA is prioritizing straight buys instead of the step-up queue.

I guess this is the last time I buy from EVGA

I am beyond disappointed with this whole process I should have been trying to find a card. Everyone touted this que and step up process as the way to go and I now realized I myself and will now have to buy a much more expensive gpu. My 3080 step up from 11/25 will most likely be filled by August 2021 if im lucky

I have moved this thread over to the step up forum as it pertains directly to step up.

Step up queue and direct sales are completely different allotment of cards.  One is not prioritized over the other.

Hasn't seemed to be any step-ups for the 3060ti since the beginning of last month, so that ain't great!

ASUS TUF Gaming Z490-Plus (WiFi) - Intel i9 10900K - 32 GB Ballistix RAM 3600mhz - RTX 3070 FE (in step up queue for RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming) - 2 TB WD SSD - Corsair RM850x - Noctua NH-D15S - Fractal Design R5 - And A Partridge In A Pear Tree
