Not down with the 35 hour requirement. Maybe you get enough players on BF4 but last time I did 35 hours I was in a CS:GO server either by myself or with 1 other person who would only be willing to play on my team instead of against me.

I remember when the top rung was like 10 or 15 hours. Raising the ceiling any further than that was the wrong way to go, in my opinion.

If evga can't use the game for marketing, they refuse to add the game for the "gaming community".

BF1 does not provide for a reliable way to track a player's time in-game and it does not provide for good admin ability, language filter, etc. That's unfortunate. I like the game too.

Does anyone have a link to where I can view how many hours I've played across the EVGA servers for BF4? Also most  of the EVGA servers are dead, I think BF1 would have been a better choice, but I'd imagine you guys had reasons.

Play 35 hours with 10-15 people in the server is more like a sleep fest.  Time requirement is stupid.

To the admins here, I really think you should reconsider the 35 hour requirement for Battlefield 4, at least for US servers. I played all day on the LA BF4 server, and their was max 10 people in it. The server pop never went above 10/64 players. This is really really boring and it's basically sitting in one spot till the round ends. BR servers seemed to be fine. Seems like a flawed and unfair for USA players. Don't really want to go into BR server and lag their server up.

Also does the time count all servers played ie. USA and BR servers?

to the ones complaining about 35h - no one is forcing you to play the 35h and you can play any amount of time and still win stuff. this event is for everyone, the 35h tier is clearly not.
there is also the social media event, not much effort needed there and you can win small and big prizes.

However it is a community gaming event... If you're going to play the game casually, everyone should have an equal chance to win.  If this were some sort of competitive event then your reasoning would be a little more accurate.

They do have an equal chance to win depending on the tier they meet. The increased hours is to prevent dupe account entry and encourage players to play more during the events.

EA really needs to change server support for BF1. I've only seen 1 or 2 non official servers for that game. It's shocking how few player rented servers there is for the PC. The game is played less than BF4.

I get that no one is forcing me to play the 35 hours, I want to play nut the US EVGA servers are dead. The LA server maxes out at around 10 players all day. It's not even playing Bf anymore, it's just  walking around instead of actually playing.

EVGA and their kindergarten environment doesn't make it much fun to play for the general population.  It's pretty unfortunate when they have to continually give prizes away to attract people to the server, even then it only attracts so very few.

I would play more on their server, has DLC and runs fine but BF4 is almost 5 years old? The game is dying and I personally am playing BF1 now. The event would be much more fun if the servers were populated, all today was just a 5v5 Conquest with most players in tanks. Really boring for my first gaming event. Also I think EVGA needs to really promote their events more, I only heard about this from a guy on reddit. I appreciate EVGA giving away prizes still for BF4. I'l definitely look into buying EVGA parts for my next upgrade just cuz they support BF4 with events.

That is true no one is forced to play. A lot of people have chosen to do that by looks of all the empty servers.

The increased hours is not to prevent dupe accounts for the gaming events. It's evga failed attempt to improve the traffic on the servers during the event. Maybe evga should adapt how they do events to where they can host games people want to play. They lost that chance with BF1, because they couldn't have the lazy method of doing an event (stats tracking).

The scavenger hunt has the dupe account problem.

OKAY EVGA, I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO PLAY YOUR EVENT BUT IT IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE. All EVGA servers are dead, and one server has 3 players meaning the round won't start and I literally can't log hours because it can't count until the round starts. I think I'm just gonna give up, I logged 11 hours yesterday on a 10/64 player server, but this is ridiculous.

I really appreciate you guys hosting an even for BF4, you've done more than DICE or EA ever has, but I feel like you guys didn't think this one through all the way. I can't get any hours logged if no one is in the servers.

35 Hour Tier: We added the new Tier 5 to provide more ways of winning for the gaming community. Tier 4 is still available so we never took anything away.

Stats: Please check the gaming event article here: https://www.evga.com/articles/01139/high-noon-gaming-event/ You'll notice the Stats links have changed to their original pages. All stats were reset prior to the event starting. Killing Floor 2 is now tracked internally instead of using GameTracker. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is also tracked internally. I'll try to get a new page set up to the total time across all of them but for now, you can add the time from those pages.

Battlefield 1: We are unable to track statistics for the gaming events. This prevents EVGA from having one of these servers on our roster. There was a conversation about having one for fun "For the gaming community" as MSim put it. However, the administration tool set is very limited and is not something we are able to add to keep in line with our rules.

Feedback is highly appreciative to EVGA. Please keep the conversation going if you'd like but I hope this post resolves most of the questions here.
