Not much else to say here other than the fact that the current state of the EVGA web shop is an absolute travesty.

It looks like a Geocities page from 2002. Archaic UI, no advanced queue options or timer for items you add to your cart, nothing.

No captcha after logging in to deter scripts or bots. Yes, I understand that real people were able to buy cards last week. That’s not the point. The features are utterly outdated and the company should be embarrassed at the state of it, frankly.

Not only that, but the entire website crashed for upwards of 40 minutes last week. What’s the point of putting up stock if the server can’t even handle the load of a wet fart on launch day?

Something needs to change.

Oh, and before you say I’m just salty about not getting a card, I wasn’t even trying to buy a 3080 last week. These are just my observations and opinions.

I clicked on this thread because I figured you would mention that they haven't updated their pages for the new 3080 card to populate properly yet. I don't think a heavily anticipated launch day crashing the sight is a far criticism unless you know just how much traffic was taxing the servers. Other than that can't really argue the rest. Their website seems quick and snappy compared to ones with more modern eye candy and features maybe?

This x 100. I fervently believe that developers who constantly overhaul perfectly functional UI's for purely aesthetic reasons are a cancer on society.

More surprised anyone can even get to the shop. It's been 502 for me since launch. Even the main EVGA website is always 502.

NVIDIA couldn't have done a better job of gifting AMD a platinum platter to launch its RDNA2 cards on. I personally know two people that are now waiting to see how those 6000 cards will do.

Clear your cache and cookies and see if that helps, That happened to me with the stepup forum, though I could still access other ones.

The only thing that annoys me about EVGA webshop is after a product hits EOL, they remove it. Cheese and Rice EVGA, leave the dang page up so we can refer back to it when we need show someone the specs of the product. It can't take that much space to leave them up. Nothing more annoying than to be in your "My Products" page, click on an item you have bought from EVGA and it takes you a Oops something broke page or to the Accessories page. Leave the freaking product page link up.

The main website www.evga.com has been 502 since the launch. Has never loaded ONCE, so every time I want to access the forums I have to use the direct forum url. Doesn't matter if I clear DNS, flush cache, or use ctrfl+f5. So my assumption is EVGA is blocking IPs in my area.

Fortunately I had zero plans to buy a card, but I still find it irritating the main landing page has been 502 for so long. I'd assume it'd be easier to use cloudflare than try to block IP ranges from bots as I highly doubt I'm the only person seeing this issue.
