Ubisoft has officially revealed Hyper Scape, the company's sci-fi Battle Royle, a 100-player multiplayer shooter which features a large urban map, plenty of verticality and a multitude of weapon types.

Currently, Ubisoft's latest shooter is available on PC as a "technical test", which can be accessed by selected players through Twitch Drops or via online registration. Registering for the game will not automatically grant players early access.

Hyper Scape will be available as a free-to-play game when it officially releases, offering players fast-paced combat and plenty of close-quarters combat. At this time the game has no firm release date for PC, though Ubisoft has provided a set of early PC system requirements for the game, which are designed to showcase what hardware is required for 1080p 60FPS gameplay and 4K 60 FPS gameplay.

PC gamers will be glad to know that this game will be playable on systems with graphics cards as old as Nvidia's GTX 660 and AMD's Radeon HD 7870 with 1080p 60FPS gameplay. These framerate targets suggest that Hyper Scape's planned console versions will also target 60 FPS gameplay.

PC gamers can sign up for Hyper Scape's technical test here. This test will be playable until July 8th at 8 AM BST.
