That is an amazing setup

Hey thanks man :) The next thing I will do is the storage, my main still uses a 240GB SSD rofl a Corsair Force3, which has been enough for my gaming needs.
But yeah a 1TB SSD like a Samsung Evo 850 or so would be very welcoming.

Most money has gone in to my CPU's, Mainboard, Server Ram, GPGPU , Sound Card, Case, PSU, IO, Lighting, Side Window Kit and the HP ZR24w 24" 1610 HS-IPS panels.
So yeah Storage will be worked on eventually

Yeah. I am running an 850 pro 1tb. It is super fast. I got a great deal on eBay. I plan on doing a 960pro once I can get an x299 board

Well I don't run normal system more of a Server/workstation guy and API's like Vulkan are fun with 24 Core systems :)
For the next upgrade I will be getting three of these:

Angelbird Wings PX1 PCIe x4 M.2 Adapter and on that use a M2 SSD this is probably my best shot.
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1215140-REG/angelbird_wpx1_fwkf_wings_px1_pcie_x4.html

I can use about 3 of those, giving eacha  1TB M.2 SSD for storage

With that me specs with the GP102 will be the following:

Valkyrie SMP 2014

2x 12-Core AMD OpteronMP 6180 SE D1 Mangy Cours, 24x 2.5Ghz, 2x 12MB L3
Supermicro H8DG6-F Dual AMD SR5690 / SP5100 Chipsets
4x 4GB + 4x 8GB PC3-12800 ECC Reg HP Server Ram with Samsung & Hynix BGA Chips 24GB Quad Channel DDR3-1600 @ 1333 Per CPU
2x Noctua NH-U9DO A3's
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite Red Edition 11GB 352Bit GDDR5X Rev.A1 1517 (Week 15 - Year 2017)
Auzentech X-Fi Bravura 7.1 PCI-E
3x Angelbird Wings PX1 PCI-E x4 M.2 Adapter
3x 1TB M.2 SSD
2x Intel 2Gigabit Lan Jacks
1x Nuvoton IPMI 2.0 / 1Gigabit Lan Jack
1x Corsair Force3 240GB SATA III SSD
1x Plextor PX-B950SA BR-RW Single Layer, Dual Layer & DR-3D BR-RW Supported
Lian Li Tyr PC-X2000B
Lian Li W-X2000B Side Window Kit
SeaSononic Platrinum-X 1000 Watt 100% Modular PSU
Hewlett Packard ZR24w 24" S-IPS Panel - 16:10 Aspect Ratio
Max Resolution & Refresh Rate: 1920 x 1200 x32 @ 60 Hertz

Windows 7 Pro x64 UK + SP1
NVIDIA ForceWare 378.49 WHQL

That way my system will last for many more years

Here the motherboard I am using:
http://www.supermicro.nl/Aplus/motherboard/Opteron6000/SR56x0/H8DG6.cfm

So I call this upgrade project:

"Project GP102: The Descent To Insane Levels of FPS & Beyond"

Here a song that fits this perfectly, the dynamic flow and thrill of pure excitement as you make "The Descent" to this awesome world of pure Speed & Colored Bliss"

Armin Van Buuren Live @ Ultra in Miami, Florida, USA Feat. Protoculture - The Descent

Kinda fits us NVIDIA GeForce users that video ^^^ All dem awesome green lights

I miss my 4P magny core setup, but it became irrelevant for F@H unfortunately. Luckily, I had Bowlinra to guide me through Linux for it. It was definitely a different PC experience. Your new card will be sweet, I hope you really enjoy it! On a side note, I wish my area looked that nice and clean.

Well I scrapped the EVGA GTX 1080 TI FTW3 idea, I bought an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 iCX 8GB GDDR5X 11 GBps instead, so back to Plan A.
All because my native resolution is only 1920 x 1200 and for my Dual G34 system, all that together a 1080 Ti would not be worth it, nor I would barely notice a difference.

This also saved me 241 Euro which is roughly 260 USD difference and that I will use for my diecast Boeing 747 Scale 1:200 collection :)

Just have other privileges and priorities alongside VGA cards Server PC's & Dinosaurs.
Even so this a very worthy and nice upgrade considering it's about 12.87 times faster than the EVGA GeForce GTX 480 1.5GB GDDR5 I am using now

Just updated my Dual 6-Core Opteron 2435 D0 & Dual 12 Core OpteronMP 6180 SE D1 systems,  left with 2x EVGA GTX 480 right one the GTX 1080 FTW2 iCX :)

So here's CLUBNET my network as of now

And from their sides:

The GTX 480 ES and the GTX 1080 iCX have their Led Displays on :)

Slowly I will try to replace the EVGA GTX 480's with EVGA GTX TITAN Black's, hard to find but well worth the challenge

Well can't be as hard as finding a 3dfx Voodoo5 6000 or 5000 Engineering Sample even I had those myself.
Ah well I am sure I will come up with something, 2x TITAN Z would be fantastic as they are Dual TITAN Blacks, but even so I won't leave out such alternatives either

Thanks buddy :)

By having the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 for some time now, I gotta admit it never overheats and it always has fulfilled it's tasks well
Kind of reminded me how the EVGA GTX 680 SC Sig 2GBs were. Low TDP low load temps and solid performance.

Love looking at those older systems. Retro is never out of style as far as I'm concerned.
