Thanks for the link, it was a good read.  I can't wait to get this all done.  I planned on using the Hydronaut I bought for my CPU, is that not a good idea?  I thought the person that I was quoting was going to install upgraded pads....unless I read that wrong.  Is that necessary?  I mean I know necessary is relative given the subject matter, but is there a good enough reason to install different pads?

I have never given Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut Thermal Grease Paste a test run.
I see no need to replace the New Thermal Pads that come with the Kit, See Below
I use ARCTIC MX-4 Thermal Compound Paste, Carbon Based or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Grease Paste on my Graphics Cards but I would never use any type of LM Thermal Paste on a Graphics Card, CPU yes but never a GPU.

Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 High Performance Thermal Pad - 100x100 x 2.0mm Link $44.95
Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 High Performance Thermal Pad - 100x100 x 1.5mm Link $34.50
Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 High Performance Thermal Pad - 100x100 x 1.0mm Link $32.99
Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 High Performance Thermal Pad - 100x100 x 0.5mm Link $28.91 +  $3.99 shipping

I use the Cheaper Ones When I need to use them, but have to get the Grizzly Minus Pad 8 for 2.0mm
ARCTIC Thermal Pad (145 x 145 x 0.5 mm) - Silicone Based Thermal Pad with 6.0W/mK Thermal Conductivity - Flexible and Adaptive $10.91
ARCTIC Thermal Pad (145 x 145 x 1.0 mm) - Silicone Based Thermal Pad with 6.0W/mK Thermal Conductivity - Flexible and Adaptive $15.99

ARCTIC Thermal Pad (145 x 145 x 1.5 mm) - Silicone Based Thermal Pad with 6.0W/mK Thermal Conductivity - Flexible and Adaptive $17.43

ARCTIC Thermal Pad (145 x 145 x 1.0 mm) - Silicone Based Thermal Pad with 6.0W/mK Thermal Conductivity - Flexible and Adaptive $15.99

Looking at testing this out TF8 Thermal Compound Paste 13.8 W/mK, Carbon Based High Performance, Heatsink Paste, CPU for All Coolers, Interface Material, 2 Grams with Tool Link

[BETTER THAN LIQUID METAL]: Composed of carbon micro-particles which lead to an extremely high thermal conductivity. It guarantees that heat generated from the CPU or GPU is dissipated efficiently.
[SAFE APPLICATION]: The TF8 is metal-free and non-electrical conductive which eliminates any risks of causing short circuit, adding more protection to the CPU and VGA cards.
[HIGH DURABILITY]: In contrast to metal and silicon thermal compound, the TF8 does not compromise over time. Once applied, you do not need to apply it again as it will last at least for 8 years.
[EASY TO APPLY]: With an ideal consistency, the TF8 is very easy to use, even for beginners.
[THERMAL COMPOUND]: Formula, the TF8 guarantees exceptional heat dissipation from the components and supports the stability needed to push your system to its limit.

Sorry about that...I meant Kryonaut.  You think this TF8 stuff is better than that?  Also..are you are saying that you wouldn't recommend extra pads, but gave me links in case I was still interested?  Sorry if I'm not understanding...it's been a long day lol

Not sure one is 13.8 W/mK (TF8) and the other 12.5 W/mk (Kryonaut)
The Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut Thermal Grease Paste is Thermal conductivity 11.8 W/mk

Guess I should add MX-4 Thermal conductivity 8.5 W/(mK)

The Kryonaut is what I ordered earlier this fall.  If the TF8 is only a hair better I'll just keep what I have, use it on the hybrid kit install & skip the pads too.  Thanks for all the info.

Jacob said the kits would drop late last week. Then early this week either on Monday or Tuesday. And now it's Thursday. Zero new info.

My ocd of seeing 85c on the memory is killing me. And I'm too cheap to custom loop with the hydrocopper.

I wish they'd move these hybrid kits to at least a 240 radiator or something. I feel like they're slightly gimping their capabilities by sticking with a 120/140 radiator. They work only slightly better or even just on par with the best air coolers (albeit likely more quiet,  but still.)

Per Jacob on Twitter the FE based Hybrid kit came in.  They will probably be listed shortly...hopefully the FTW3 kits will follow suit.

The Sea Hawk 2080Ti is proof that a single fan slim rad AIO isn't enough. The Aorus 2080Ti 240mm AIO shows that it's necessary sitting around 58c-62c.

Nice, you guys think its really necessary?  Do these cards run hot enough to really bother?  Just asking because I'm too tired to read up on it at the moment, but loved my hybrid titan x which does run hot.

Those Aorus cards aren't really hybrid cards since there isn't a fan on the card.  The water block cools everything, which is probably why they went with a 240mm Rad.

I got my email from auto notify....I estimate they sold out in about 6 minutes. I was at my PC when I got the email and immediately placed my order. From refreshing the page it looks like they were gone in that time.

Interested in reviews, for the price of the kit, I could trade up my 2070 XC Ultra for a 2080 XC Black.
