Hmm tempting, have never done this with a GPU before but may have to give this a try since I am doing a new build here very soon.

Quiet and Cooler; But best to get a back up kit for the Pump when they go on sale. "Warranty: 1 Year" I was hoping that this time they would have at least matched the GPU with "Warranty: 3 Years" but nope.

I saw it in the store, I just didn’t know if it came with the kit or not. I mean I think it should, but I don’t know if it does since I’ve never ordered a hybrid kit or did anything like this myself.

This would not come with the Kit. In the first post are the items that are part of the Kit.

More than likely not. It is inexpensive though. Throwing an extra bracket in would raise the cost for people that don’t need it, when the people that need it can pick it up separately.

That means when IDLE it will be noisier than with stock air cooler, right? I just don't get why they don't couple pump speed to radiator fan speed and make a true IDLE FAN+PUMP ZERO hybrid cooler. I have a silent PC, and if I wouldn't have to sacrifice idle quietness in order to get a much quieter system when GPU is on full load, I would instantly buy that kit.

I've been building my PC's for ~20 years now, but I've never used water cooling hardware. Furthermore, the 2080 Ti ftw3 ultra is my first EVGA graphics card ever, so a few questions: 1. I won't lose my warranty when installing this hybrid kid, right? 2. Where do I install the small radiator/fan unit in my case? 3. Can I additionally install a CPU watercooling unit like the NZXT Kraken X62 or Corsair H115i? I really like the look of watercooled parts and temperature/noise ratio with OC seems to be better than air cooling, too. My Noctua NH-D15 is performing pretty good but it looks like a big brick^^ And the noise of all these fans (3 on the ftw3, 2 on the Noctua, 3 in my case and 1 in the PSU) is quite noticeable when under load.. Will get even worse in summer I suppose..

No you won’t void warranty
You can bolt the radiator at any intake or exhaust 120mm fan spot
And yes you can use multiple aio kits depending on case size.
I have an 240 clc and plan on using this kit with it in a corsair 250d.

No, it will not be noisier than the Stock Cooler. Unless you sticking in your head inside your computer case.

Must be new to EVGA, Welcome to a Great Project with Great Support. Why would EVGA sale a product to put on your EVGA Product to only Void the Warranty. This is why we buy EVGA. As long as you Keep The Original Parts like the Cooler or Shroud to put back on in case you need to RMA you Card you are good to go. Anywhere you want to Install the Radiator as long as the Tubes are on the Bottom. If installed on the Top of the Case it makes no difference. I would not call AIO Coolers "Water Cooled Computer" being they are closed systems unlike a Custom Water Loop. But some do say that their computer is a Water Cooled system when they install AIO Coolers being on the CPU or GPU. It really should be called a Hybrid Water Cooled Computer, but that is just me.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. I was thinking it was needed. So the only reason to get the smaller bracket is if you want to free up a slot in your case?

What do you need these for? Do you replace thermal pads as part of the install? This is my first time attempting to do anything like this, but I've built PCs since the mid 90s, so I'm confident I can do it...I just want to make sure I have everything I need to maximize my gains.

It comes with what you need. Myself I would use some MX-4 for the Thermal Paste for the GPU Die. You are only remove the Current Cooler Should and may or may not remove the Mid Plate this time. But we may need to wait for the Manual to come out. The Fan and Heat Sink Below have Pre-Installed Thermal Pads as well as the vRam Plate below. This is the manual for the GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 but will give you an idea https://www.evga.com/support/manuals/files/GTX_1080Ti_FTW3_Hybrid_manual.pdf The EVGA HYBRID cooler for the EVGA GeForce RTX Graphics Cards is an all in one water cooling solution that significantly lowers the GPU and VRAM operating temperature. Best of all? The water cooler is completely self-contained with the included 120mm radiator and fan. No filling, no custom tubing, and no maintenance. Just plug and play! Control both radiator and VRM fans using EVGA Precision X1.

Ok, thanks :) Yeah I know, it's not a custom loop so should be called Hybrid :D Maybe I'll build a "real" water cooled rig in the future.. but I'll need more time for that^^
You can call it what you want. Once you go Full Custom you may never look back. Or then Never do it again I have both and both have a good and bad side to then. Some members post question about their custom water cooled computer to find they only have a Corsair H100i install

Topless_Stang Thanks for the link, it was a good read. I can't wait to get this all done. I planned on using the Hydronaut I bought for my CPU, is that not a good idea? I thought the person that I was quoting was going to install upgraded pads....unless I read that wrong. Is that necessary? I mean I know necessary is relative given the subject matter, but is there a good enough reason to install different pads?
I have never given Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut Thermal Grease Paste a test run. I see no need to replace the New Thermal Pads that come with the Kit, See Below I use ARCTIC MX-4 Thermal Compound Paste, Carbon Based or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Grease Paste on my Graphics Cards but I would never use any type of LM Thermal Paste on a Graphics Card, CPU yes but never a GPU. It guarantees that heat generated from the CPU or GPU is dissipated efficiently. [SAFE APPLICATION]: The TF8 is metal-free and non-electrical conductive which eliminates any risks of causing short circuit, adding more protection to the CPU and VGA cards. [HIGH DURABILITY]: In contrast to metal and silicon thermal compound, the TF8 does not compromise over time. Once applied, you do not need to apply it again as it will last at least for 8 years. [EASY TO APPLY]: With an ideal consistency, the TF8 is very easy to use, even for beginners. [THERMAL COMPOUND]: Formula, the TF8 guarantees exceptional heat dissipation from the components and supports the stability needed to push your system to its limit.

Looking forward to seeing these go on sale. I just got off the phone with the Customer Support team after asking them a few questions I figured people might be interested in knowing: 1) You most likely can't use a different clc/aio on these coolers due to the mounting plate. Not too big of a surprise there 2) They should go on sale soon 3) For those that own FE cards, you probably still won't be able to control the RGB LEDs on the card due to a firmware lock on the controller (but fingers crossed that will get cracked at some point in the near future) 4) The representative had not heard about any plans to offer the kits with larger radiators (120mm)

All in All I think it is time for NVIDIA to come out with their Own AIO Cooler.
