When the inactive game is activated after the notification sound and mute sound in Discord, the audio effects etc. are disabled.
In addition, you may not be able to hear voice chat.
Does anyone understand this cause? Help me.
I tried reinstalling the driver, but it has no effect.

I'm sorry, my English is not good.

It might help to know what OS (Windows 7, 8, 10) you have and if it's 32-bit or 64-bit..Also if you are using onboard sound or a sound card.

List your OS and all your system hardware.

There is also Discord F.A.Q. / Troubleshooting..You could search 'No sound' and see all the hits you get.

The OS is Windows 10 64bit version is 1909.
Sound card is Nu Audio, v0.2.1.2
    Firmware version 0.30
Normally, audio effects and quick settings work normally during game and video playback.
Audio effects and quick settings are no longer reflected when a notification sound such as a chat message sound or mute sound is played in Discord.

Since the issue only occurs during discord please read the Discord FAQ link posted by Bob above. However I will forward this to EVGA.

Sorry I can't help anymore..It's hard to say if it's a Discord problem, or if Discord and Nu Audio don't play well together.

See: How to install drivers for the EVGA NU Audio card? with a link at the bottom to How to troubleshoot if I am experiencing issues with my EVGA NU Audio Card?

    That's all I can tell you..Good luck.

    Discord FAQ did not help.
A video for confirmation was taken.
    The symptoms are like this.

Maybe create an Audio Profile in the Nu Audio software and use profiles for different games/apps?..I don't know..I never got into audio problems much and I'm certainly not an audiophile, not even in the same Zip Code as an audiophile.

    The profile is not used.
No changes have been made to the equalizer settings.

I see you purchased this Nu audio card a few months ago. Have you been having this issue since you installed it?

Did anything recently change with discord such as an update or anything else related to the software or Windows 10?

There seemed to be no problem at the time of purchase.
However, GoogleChrome did not reflect the settings.
The firmware update for NU Audio was made a few days ago.
At the same time, the version of Windows 10 was updated from 1803 to 1909, but this problem also occurred in version 1803.
Discord is automatically updated, so you can't tell when it occurred.

I took a look at your YouTube video and I'm wondering if you have hardware acceleration enabled in Chrome and Discord. You might want to try disabling hardware acceleration in both programs and see if you still encounter issues. But if you continue having problems with effects, please call us at 1-888-881-3842 or e-mail support@evga.com and our technical team will be happy to help look further into the issue with you.

As a result, disabling hardware acceleration had no effect.
This happens not only in Google Chrome, but also in games and all applications.
If you hear a notification sound even with Discord, you may not be able to hear voice chat.
If you do not use audio effects, these phenomena will not occur.

I sent these to email support.
