Power supple: EVGA g2 850w

Issues
I've had some noticeable coil whine on the 4 GPUs that have been connected to this PSU. 780ti, 980, 1080 ti and 2080

Main issue which has caused me to post this is that, my astro a40s have an annoying hum, when they are getting powered by my PC or ANYTHING getting supplied USB power from my PSU like my monitors.

Today I decided to plug the USB into my PS4 while having the optical cable plugged into my PC and there was zero humming what so ever ...even when my mix amp was at max volume. I also tested having the Astros being supplied power from it's own USB to plug adapter and yet again ZERO humming what so ever.

Is my PSU supplying my PC poorly and does this issue warrant an RMA?

Doubt it, but the only way to know for sure would be to try another psu.

    Hi zqa20,

Thanks for your post. PSU's and many other electrical components have the possibility of inducing coil whine when interacting with each other. This does not affect the lifespan of either product, but we do understand the noise can be annoying. If you are able to determine that the PSU is causing coil whine for multiple products we can perform a replacement RMA if you are under warranty, but due to the nature of coil whine it is impossible for us to guarantee a replacement will be quieter with your components.

    Best,
    Alan

In 25 years iv had only 1 PSU that did do "coilwhine" to other parts and even then it only did it to Motherboard's power circuit, and it was more ratling noice than whining.. also had other stability issues too.
