InjuisWill there be a software update for Pro cards?
silentknyghtI appreciate the update, Lee. I'm sure I, and many others, would continue to welcome regular (weekly? bi-monthly?) communication updates, even if the software/driver updates aren't ready. PS. I had mic input clipping, too, but it seems to be fixed with a reduction in the ASIO sample rate. I have an entire thread on the topic, with one extra long post.
pmcleanI had an install error saying it was not installed correctly and to restart and re-install. I did so and it kept giving me the same error and same message to reinstall. I did reinstall several times. Uninstalled the drivers and app and restarted and reinstalled drivers same error. Uninstalled everything took out card, rebooted, shut down installed card in different slot and tried installing/reinstalling the drivers several more times with the same error every single time.
unclewallEVGA has no reply, So I guess that means they are going to not update the Pro card that's a shame. I owned prior to the EVGA Pro a ASUS STX II which also was abandoned by the manufacture and which a former employee used to write updated drivers which is sad but in EVGAs case is worse because no one is doing driver updates. EVGA should tell us if the card is gonna be abandoned or not Walt
BizSARJust because a company hasn't released a driver in a while doesn't mean support has been dropped. The post earlier in this thread that I linked is from August of this year. Check it.
cyber44030Last driver update released was back in march and hasn't been anything since. the latest drivers released alot of people can't use them because of the installation bug. Hasn't been any hot fixes to solve this issue and it is a known common problem. I myself am stuck using the January 2.1.7 Drivers because the 2.1.10 drivers do not work. I paid $250 Dollars for your audio card it would be nice if you guys would fix the list of common problems these cards have. I shouldn't have to use a outdated driver just to use my card. If the Driver Dev team can't solve the software and driver issues then EVGA should outsource it to someone who can.
