Thank you for the reply BizSAR.

I guess will have to give up and contact support maybe there is actually something wrong with the card. Who knows. One thing I've learned in all these years is computers can finicky picky and down right annoying sometimes for reasons beyond any logic.

Will there be a software update for Pro cards?

Seconding this inquiry. I've been getting a couple weird glitches (sound only coming from one ear and mic randomly getting loud).

Yea, need an update for Pro. ALso, will something be done to fix ASIO mode not switching the Sample Rate back resulting in no sound at all if normal sample rate is different from ASIO one?

Yup. Still waiting on an update from March for the pro-priced card I bought, which can't even cope with logging out and back into Windows. I'm about done with you, EVGA. This is pathetic.

I appreciate the update, Lee.  I'm sure I, and many others, would continue to welcome regular (weekly?  bi-monthly?) communication updates, even if the software/driver updates aren't ready.

PS.  I had mic input clipping, too, but it seems to be fixed with a reduction in the ASIO sample rate.  I have an entire thread on the topic, with one extra long post.

It’s a good idea to give an update on a regular basis.

I had an install error saying it was not installed correctly and to restart and re-install. I did so and it kept giving me the same error and same message to reinstall. I did reinstall several times. Uninstalled the drivers and app and restarted and reinstalled drivers same error. Uninstalled everything took out card, rebooted, shut down installed card in different slot and tried installing/reinstalling the drivers several more times with the same error every single time.

Question for you. Do you reject the 'your computer needs to restart' during the installation?
I was having similar install issues on the Nu Pro, and I found that refusing to restart right then and there, and letting the buggy installer actually finish installing, I was able to get things installed.

EVGA has no reply, So I guess that means they are going to not update the Pro card that's a shame. I owned prior to the EVGA Pro a ASUS STX II which also was abandoned by the manufacture and which a former employee used to write updated drivers which is sad but in EVGAs case is worse because no one is doing driver updates. EVGA should tell us if the card is gonna be abandoned or not

They've already replied earlier in this thread that they are certainly not dropping support. I have the pro version as well and love it, but updates take time, especially during these trying times. :)

Just because a company hasn't released a driver in a while doesn't mean support has been dropped. The post earlier in this thread that I linked is from August of this year. Check it.

While true, it certainly feels like it's been dropped since the non-Pro series has received two updates since the last Pro update. Especially when discussions about updates were made, EVGA said they would be more routine with giving at least a message about update progress. They gave their message (many months ago), but only for the non-Pro series, leaving any information about potential updates/improvements MIA for Pro owners, which causes concern of whether an update is even in the pipeline.

This info?

"Feedback I received yesterday is to look for a new driver between mid-to-late August.  It will fix one issue that people were running into regarding user account issues, but they'll also try to add any of the more recent issues people have been reporting."

Over 2 months ago its time to give us info on what's going on

It would be nice to see an update but I can be a bit forgiving since the launch of the 30XX series of GPU has been a massive event with a lot of headaches. Luckily that is looking to be getting under control so hopefully we hear something soon.

Sure doesn't look like it. I'm pulling the card and selling it. This is ridiculous.

It looks like all their programmers (even when it feels they have only like 1 working there anyways) worked on the new precision x software.

Feels like support has been abandoned for the Pro model. It's been what, eight, nine months since an update?

I was an early adopter and have been constantly having a high gain microphone jack, I've made this issue known so I won't drone on about that. But I've been told microphone gain was something coming in future builds and I'm starting to lose my patience. I'm over the 32bit DAC since I've spent more time trying to temper my voice to not peak the input from a Modmic as I now work from home and interact with colleagues more often than I listen to high bitrate media.

Hell, I was expecting way better support from an American company. Even chineese ones are providing support for a year or two. The software is NOT flawless!
Problem with frequency not switching properly back when using ASIO/Windows Spatial sound is very troubling.
Microphone recording is stereo only and that really makes a trouble in some software since the mic only sounds in one year (as all normal mics are mono).

Last driver update released was back in march and hasn't been anything since. the latest drivers released alot of people can't use them because of the installation bug. Hasn't been any hot fixes to solve this issue and it is a known common problem. I myself am stuck using the January 2.1.7 Drivers because the 2.1.10 drivers do not work. I paid $250 Dollars for your audio card it would be nice if you guys would fix the list of common problems these cards have. I shouldn't have to use a outdated driver just to use my card. If the Driver Dev team can't solve the software and driver issues then EVGA should outsource it to someone who can.

They can't open source the drivers because they didn't produce the hardware nor did they produce the firmware, all they did was repackage it.

Their "driver" is just a widget that talks to the firmware's API. Most of the work they do to "fix" their "driver" consists of writing kludges as work-arounds to the upstream manufacturer's buggy binary blobs.
