The PC version of Halo: MCC will come in stages, with each game released individually, in chronological order, rather than all of them together in one big bundle. That means Halo: Reach will be first, followed by Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4. 343 Industries said that staggered scheduled will enable it to ensure that each game is "right"—emphasis theirs—with PC-standard features including FOV sliders, 4K resolution and ultrawide monitor support, adjustable framerates, and remappable keys. Beyond their initial launch, the games will "evolve and grow over time with community input," Microsoft said.

As an avid Halo player growing up, I'm pumped for this! It's been a long time coming. No release date as of yet. Assuming Fall '19.

    It’s good news but I kind of worry about the price. When they did the re-release for the Xbox only the original Xobox games got much of an upgrade and that was a few years ago. I kind of wonder what the interest will be for this if they expect like $29 a game or something like that when you probably can pick it up for the Xbox One for like $20 for all the games.

    I would have really been interested about 5 + years ago but I don't know if this can hold up to todays' PC gaming expectations... even though they claim this version was built for PC.

    This version of “Halo: The Master Chief Collection” was built “specifically for the PC audience,”

     
    Additionally, “Halo: Reach” is being added to “Halo: The Master Chief Collection” on Xbox One and PC, which means the volume will now officially include “Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary,” “Halo 2,” “Halo 3,” “Halo 4,” and “Halo 3: ODST.” It’s still missing “Halo 5: Guardians,” curiously, but that could potentially be added at a later date, at least players hope so.

    agreeing on that. Stopped my Halo career in 2015 when I sold my 360 as I stopped supporting that pay to game 'feature' and I really love multiplayer...
