https://www.techpowerup.com/261762/halo-reach-pc-version-launches-today Halo: Reach for PC is going live today, as per confirmations from game developer 343 Industries. The game is supposed to go live tonight at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST when it will be released on PC and Xbox One. The PC port is going to be available for purchase on three platforms: Game Pass, Steam, and the Windows Store. The PC port currently contains some bugs, however, 343 Industries is working to iron them out before the game launches. Features like uncapped FPS will be mostly unstable during the launch period and might cause the game to crash, so it's better to turn it off for now. Latency issues could also be present in the beginning but 343i is working hard to remove it before the game drops tonight. For all Steam users, you can pre-purchase the game here. If you're a Halo fan this might be for you.

Should be interesting to see what it looks like with modern PC hardware. I also forget that your in Europe since I read the Tonight at 10AM PST and was going how is that night? It's near the start of my day but sometimes I know I would like to crawl into bed and sleep at 10AM and just be done with the day.

OK, so I got to play through it for around 45 mins last night before I quit. - MINI REVIEW - graphics for the intro looked pretty good, but in game is barely passable improvement as any old game getting a texture upgrade can be... the characters & vehicles are better improved than the overall environment seems to be. The acting/ voice overs are obviously dated / cheesy in their presentation. You can tell it is an old game. like a B rated movie on TV or something , you know. Not horrible but not great . Overall sound is bad IMHO. Music is good but the sound effects are very tinny & hollow. It is almost like listening to it in mono or something ? , not impactfull nor realistic. Gameplay was worse than my memory of it was. I could only look down sights on sniper rifle or pistol , but not on my assault rifle. ..etc... & not very interesting , is the best word I can find for how it felt. I got bored pretty quick but kept playing anyways to give it a try... The best rating I could give it so far would be a "C" . This rating may go up or down as I try to play even further into it. BUT so far, it is merely OK . Nostalgia & all . SO that is my first reactions. Yours may vary .

Second the sound issue. My guns are barely audible. Voice chatter is way too loud. But at least they are working on it.
