Hello
A few weeks ago, I had problems playing the high qualities, I had the problem that the screen went black, and well I managed to investigate
analyze and end up arriving at a system that certain GPU models need bios updates and thermal pads ( obviously my GPU model is listed there)
Contact EVGA, I am about to pass on the warranty.
My question is, if I send them they will change the thermal pad, I update the biographies and I send the same GPU, or will I only get a product replacement?
Ask, because I have seen several publications where they do RMA, they get the product or damaged, or with the same errors or worse.
This is my first RMA, I'm from Latam, from a very distant country, because I don't want that to happen to me, it would also be too expensive to have to do it twice.
Thank you

You should get the same card back with the thermal pads applied and the bios updated, or you could even get an upgraded card back if they don't have your card in stock at the moment.

If you update the BIOS yourself and buy some inexpensive thermal pads, you will not have to wait or worry about the issues you mentioned.

I don’t believe that this will make much of a change though. The bios update only made the fans go slightly faster and the thermal pads pulled the temps down, but all of the components were still operating within their proper specifications.

What graphic card do you have and how old is it? You may just need to refresh the thermal material to lower your temps, and may not need to go through all of the extra steps and waiting.
