Before I begin, I'd like to say that it's been a while since I last built my first PC. This is my second one.

So, I have built an ITX PC for a family member. The parts are

H370 Stinger
I5-9900k
Noctua L9 Chromax CPU cooler
HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4 2666mhz
M.2 SSD Samsung EVO Plus 1TB
Case: INWIN Chopin M-ITX (comes with a 150w PSU)

Upon finishing the assembly, I attempted to boot it but nothing shows up on the screen.
Symptoms I can describe are
1. White LED on top right of motherboard
2. CPU Cooler fan spinning
3. Case Power Button LED is lit
4. Monitor says no display detected despite connecting the motherboard with a HDMI

I've attached a photo below.

Are you using a GPU? If so can you try a DP cable instead, (assuming you are using a monitor)?

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

It may need a BIOS update to at least Version 1.04 which adds support for 9th Gen. Intel CPUs.

I think perhaps the thing to do right now would be take it to a PC repair shop or put an older CPU in it that's supported from BIOS version 1.0 and be sure, then flash it if needed..At least get that out of the way.

    CPU Compatibility List

By the way, the latest BIOS is 1.08 found in the EVGA Download Center, as well as other drivers/software there too.

Hi! So I recently got it to a PC shop and they claimed that the motherboard is fried and the shop told me to issue a RMA (I'm not familiar whether if the symptoms align with those of a fried Mobo)... Is it possible that the shop may have misdiagnosed the issue? Should I try bring it to other PC shops instead just to verify the problem?

Sounds like it. Did the even try to boot with an older cpu that is known to be compatible with the board?

Or I hope you have resigned EVGA Warranty for your H370 MB? I think it better for you to send RMA to EVGA and let them sort out the rest for you and update new latest BIOS or if your MB is faulty then they may will swap to new one MB and send to you back! It is safe rather go your local shop might more damages!!
    It up to you

It never hurts to get a second opinion..Tell them you think it may have an older BIOS that doesn't support 9th Gen CPUs and to put a CPU in it that's on the compatibility list for BIOS v1.00 and see if it boots up..If it does, then have them flash it to v1.08 which you could put on a USB drive along with the instructions and give that to them too..Good luck with it.
