Cool item, I like the idea of being able to see the GPU.

Looks like a great way to make the video card stand out which would look great if you have a RGB lighted card you want to stand out.

It would help mod a case but is more of a piece for a mod and not an real concept idea for a mod. It would be one thing if it was thrown up in the modsrigs with pictures of a case and then a link to the card riser was shown off as an option you went with. 

thats yet to come, was out of stock for the longest time, now fedex has one on its way to me

showed up today, pretty easy to install, will need to do some clean up with the dremel later on on my case since its a corsair but overall it went pretty smooth. there are a few draw backs.
1: no air blowing on my samsung 960 evo m.2, temp went up 6c on it, even when gaming drive stayed no hotter than 40c with hot air blowing on it.
2: SLI is not possible but no big deal since i didnt plan on doing that any way
3: it covers my pretty EK M.2 cooler, the lower one. and it cover the PCH cooler with the EVGA logo
4: backplate can not be seen now, so if you have one thats blingy then you wont see it
5: pcie power cables kinda look odd, cant wait to get a kingpin so there on the end of the card
 
over all though with the newer 10series cards this would look really awesome, the 9 series are a bit meh.
i did run some bench marks and with the ribbon cable i dropped maybe 3~4fps, which could be in the margin of error, my firestrike score was down about 35 but quickly picked more by upping my overclock
so for $50 its worth it if you want to go vertical with your card for looks and looks alone. it can be made to fit pretty easy, you will have to give up about 7 slots on the case for it though,

But the price is too high.

$50 for the bracket and riser is not bad, seen some cheaper options but they were just that....cheap
