Tested different games, I have no problems with artifacts. but there is another problem. I have a freeze games every 20 seconds, but my fps all time 60. what could it be ?

How long does the freeze last?

with video cards 100% everything is fine. I checked each card individually, and in different pci-e connectors.

Probably some processes running in the background are causing the issue. Try performing a clean boot of windows to see if that will help stop the issue.

It helped, but only in full-screen mode, and I got artifacts once in a while when unfolding. most likely when there are artifacts, then the game goes very smoothly without friezes
And in windowed mode in 4k, the game is very slow, although it shows a stable 60 fps
if I change the resolution to 2k, then the game goes without friezes and smoothly in any mode. and one of the video cards shows a frequency of 1300 when the other 1800

It seems to be just a coincidence. I returned everything to its previous state, and I do not have friezes in full screen mode, although before that they were

Re: Graphic artefacts in The witcher 3 2020/02/06 16:31:07 (permalink)
I think I found the cause of the artifacts.
when the game is minimized and I’m on the desktop if the load goes to the video card in the second pci e slot then there are no artifacts, but if the load goes to the first video card, then they are. when deployed
I found a regularity for this.
in my BIOS the first pci-e slot is in 1.0 mode and on the second x8 3.0 mode. the problem is what settings I did not set, the first slot always works in 1.0 mode. while the second slot can normally work in 3.0 2.0 1.0
Why can't I install the first slot and the second slot in 3.0 mode at the same time?

I looked at your 3dmark results again, and I noticed that you were actually running two cards instead of one. With that being said your graphics score is really off. It appears one of your cards isn't working correctly. What do the cards score in 3dmark when tested individually in the first pci-e slot?

if i open gpu z programs when working in windows, then it shows that both cards work in 3.0 mode, who should I believe?

GPU-Z if both cards give around the same score in 3dmark when tested individually in the first pci-e slot.

so the problem is when they work together.
separately, all is well

Then you may have a faulty sli bridge or a faulty sli finger on one of the cards. Try a new hard sli bridge along with testing each set of sli fingers individually by using a flexible sli bridge.

Or try shut down your PC and flush out the power and remove the power plug from the wall! Try remove both graphic cards and leave for 10 mins after few mins try put back one card on top PCI-E x16 to test to boot up and carry on second card to test!!!!
