I don't know why, I'm nervous about connecting it and getting a red light or noisy pump.  Crazy eh?  It must be my age, as an older gamer the worry is winning over the excitement.
 
I keep thinking about all the conversations over the past two years about PSU/cable/power problems/loud pumps and overheating and it's making me go "Uh, yeah... next weekend. Then I'll set it up."       Maybe a good guide of things to do before installing the 3080 series might motivate me?

Just do it!  I love my hybrid card.  And may the odds be in your favor.

If you never open it, there can never be a problem. Also, if you never open it, you have a paperweight that you will never know how well it could have run.

Just open the card already lol. The issues are far more rare than it seems. Yes, some issues exist, but most people don’t run into any issues.

I also waited since December 2020 to get it.    
 
Okay so here's where I'm at.   I absolutely cannot fit it (the radiator) in my case, well not without removing the front three fans, I hated RGB at first but the colours grew on me and my wife really likes them.   I barely have my old 120mm radiator fitting inside.  I'm going with my former idea of rear mounting it but it doesn't have the holes for the radiator bracing/extender, and my case seems impervious to drilling.  Tungston drill bit to order maybe?
