Google thinks that consumer harm or the potential for consumer harm is too risky at this time. This move follows a similar move by Facebook. Google makes a lot of money off revenue off of advertisements so Google has to maintain a good clean advertising structure. In my opinion this is the right move.

    I think that the reason Google banned Bitcoin is the lack of regulation means that sites can claim to be selling bitcoin only to be a fraud. Steve Wozniak lost $70,000 to a fraud bitcoin site.

    No, Steve Wozniak got his fiat currency stolen, not his Bitcoin. Steve Wozniak sold his Bitcoin and then the person did a charge back on him saying his card was stolen. Steve Wozniak's issue has zero to do with any needed regulations on Bitcoin.
