So I had never considered that EVGA sold direct to the public, but obviously they do. It seems like the are 15-20% cheaper than going thru a reseller such as Best Buy. Are there any advantages going direct thru EVGA as opposed thru a reseller?

Thank you in advance!

EVGA sells their products based on MSRP while resellers can sell lower. Right now several resellers are selling above MSRP because they believe people will pay those jacked up prices. So as a consumer shop wisely.

Well, becareful with amazon, Newegg etc... who have third parties cause that will put your brand new gpu into second hand warranty status. Make sure its a/the approved reseller here: https://www.evga.com/products/wheretobuy.aspx   Also, evga runs some promotions through there own store, like free games etc..., so that would be another reason.

One other thing I would note if you are buying from one of our resellers, is to register your product and upload a copy of your receipt (along with keeping a digital copy) on EVGA.com as soon as you get the product.

For graphics cards/motherboards, this makes it much easier to buy an EAR, use the Step-Up program or buy an extended warranty if you decide to.

For power supplies, it ensures you get the full warranty for the original owner as a receipt is required.
