https://www.techpowerup.com/272806/gigabyte-preparing-rtx-3060-ti-graphics-cards Gigabyte has recently submitted four new GPUs to the Eurasian Economic Commission (found by @KOMACHI_ENSAKA) for certification. These four cards all feature the N306T designation which is expected to refer to the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti. Thanks to Gigabyte's consistent naming structure we can make a strong educated guess on the upcoming models by looking at their part numbers. The expected models are the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Aorus Master 8G (GV-N306TAORUS M-8GD), Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC 8G (GV-N306TGAMING OC-8GD), Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle OC 8G (GV-N306TEAGLE OC-8GD), and the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle 8G (GV-N306TEAGLE-8GD). The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB is expected to be announced later this month in response to AMD's RX 6000 series. The RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB will likely feature the 8 nm GA104-200-A1 graphics processor with 4864 CUDA cores. If this rumor is true I suspect it will arrive sometime in November/December.

I am getting tired of reading about new variations of cards - when the current ones aren't even in stock. ..

All those cards, and none of them seem to exist.

The Nov/Dec sounds pretty typical for launch rollout. Hopefully GA104 is more plentiful this holiday season.

I don't quite understand why they're releasing a 3060 ti before a 3060

Nvidia tends to start at the top of a product stack and work their way down. 3060 ti > 3060, so that at least fits the pattern.

YEP.... by then the 10GB 3080 will be much much MUCH less desired... and many will sell their 10GB 3080 to upgrade to 20GB... i bet! AND let's see if the 20GB its just more Vram or also MORE perf like the "super" versions on the 2000gen

Its sad when I consider getting a lower tier card just so I can step-up when the 3080s are available. I am only doing this since I am currently card-less because my Gigabyte 980Ti literally went up in smoke in August.
