Gigabyte is entering the gaming monitor market, revealing their Aorus AD27QD Tactical display, the company's first foray into the AMD FreeSync ecosystem. The Aorus AD27QD is a 27-inch 10-bit IPS display, offering thin bezels on three sides, a resolution of 1440p and a refresh rate that can reach as high a 144Hz. The monitor also supports AMD's FreeSync standard and features VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, though strangely the monitor is not FreeSync 2 certified. Gigabyte's Aorus AD27QD will be available at specific retailers worldwide. Box UK currently has this monitor available for pre-order for £534.99 with an expected shipping date of February 1st. Sounds reasonable.

Does this "tactical" monitor allow people to take cover and survive a barrage of bullets?

Sub MOA, split times reduced by .5 seconds, and you grow an operator bread guaranteed.

Class 4 kevlar built into chassis so you can use it for a chest plate if shot at during a gaming event.
