Hello,

I bought EVGA video card (from Newegg lottery, in USA) as a gift for my sister (in Canada).
I'm trying to figure out who should be registering the card?
Mainly since invoice would have my name on it and she took her husband last name, so it would be different from mine.

I mean I'm fine with handling possible RMA on her behalf, but I'm not sure if EVGA would be ok with shipping to address other than mine (Canada vs USA).

Thank you.

Make up an invoice from you to her including the serial number.  That is what she can upload as the invoice after she registers.  The three year warranty will be, for her, the date of shipping from EVGA.  The only thing she can't do is purchase the extended warranty.

Well, you can have her register it and have a base 3 year warranty from when we shipped it to Newegg which in most cases is a very short time frame from when you bought it. However if you wish to extend the warranty or step up to a higher tier card only the original owner can do that. Obviously you being her brother it sounds like it won't be an issue either way but for promotions we suggest you be the register but you both can register it regardless. Btw, you're a good brother buying her a video card. Keep it up
