I'm picking up a Plextor M9Pe AIC 512GB NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 SSD.
I currently have an old Plextor 256mb PCIe 2.0 model that has worked great, but I got a GTX 1070-I FTW and thought I should upgrade my data flow to keep up. I ran crystalmark at around 750 and writes around 650 on PCIe 2.0. The M9Pe is advertised much high
I'm die hard Win 7 and noticed the "Supported" OS's don't include Win 7. I'm thinking this doesn't really matter because the system thinks it's a standard drive and doesn't need any drivers, right. They must be saying as far firmware other type support.
Please confirm.
