I remember people complaining about this for a while now.  
 
I wonder how many RMA's EVGA had ate because of this when it wasn't hardware related.

I pretty much believe that most issues like this are not hardware related. Usually, if it is the ONLY game crashing, it is (I know this sounds obvious) the game causing the crashes.

Keep in mind they just fixed flickering in World of Warcraft which has been out for 15 years. I am pretty sure that is a sign that the drivers broke something since it didn't used to do that.

The flickering was specific to a brand new dx12 renderer blizzard introduced several months ago.
