Yeah, 425.31 is the ticket.

Not sure what they are doing with the other drivers that is screwing everything up.

The new one was stopping my FTW3 Ultra 2080TI from boosting past 1995 Mhz.

I'd really like a performance boost as I'm just 1 fps off my 60fps average in Division 2 lol, so I'm tempted to DDU and go back to 425.31.
Would you still recommend 425.31 after the latest 430 driver that fixed security exploits?

419.67 seem to be working pretty good for me. Hearing of too many problems with anything after these.

MS is using the 430.39 in the Windows update, guess they didn't get the memo.. ;)

I stopped all updates until NVIDIA comes out with a good driver.

Disable driver updates, MS will screw you if you keep it enabled.

Still having flickering and performance drop (around 3%) on both 430.64 and the previous version.  Reverted back to 425.31, again - sigh

I am thinking of going to 1903 to see if this really us part of the issue.
Maybe Microsoft paid off NVIDIA

When I updated to both 430.39 and 430.64 I saw a 10 degree Celsius increase in temperature under full load on my 2080 ti XC Ultra.

I've never seen a noticeable difference in temps between driver versions.

The only way that I can see this being possible is if the drivers become significantly more efficient and utilize more of the GPU. In other words, someone currently has a CPU bottleneck and a driver update fixes it... I would say this would be pretty rare, other than when they first started rolling out the shader cache.

I did indeed reset FM7. Still nothing. Reinstalled the game. Same. I can try to revert back to 425.31 and see if it works. My other hunch would be to wait till I get to install 1903. Maybe the new 430.64 drivers are intended to be used with 1903 and could possibly create issues with 1809 or below. I really would like to play the game and I was playing just fine until last week when all hell broke loose.

Finally caved in with all the latest Windows 10 updates, was already in 1903, but there was a lot of updates in the past week for so.

It did install that bad driver so I updated to the 430.64 after all the updates and the issues have gone away.

No more flickering in Time Spy and scores are back to normal.

So it seems fine as long as all the Windows updates are installed too.

Had done it on my other gaming PC 1st with the GTX 1080Ti FTW3 before so I figured it might be fine.

I upgraded my Windows last night to version 1903. This morning I removed an older Nvidia driver completely using DDU. Then I installed this latest Nvidia driver. Wow, this driver is pretty bad ass. With my RTX 2080 FTW3 I scored my highest Firestrike score ever at 23087. That's with a Ryzen 1700x running all cores at 3.8Ghz and my RAM running at 3300Mhz and tight timings.:)

My usually stuttering because even more severe.  Don't think it's the driver but the update to BFV for the Frostbite engine.  Took a pretty good performance hit and had to lower my game settings to Medium and RT to Low.  Now I'm barely stuttering.
