I'm annoyed with the fixed issues list, the AC4 smoke was stated to me to be a game issue when I opened feedback about it 2 years ago.

Ark / Witcher 3 bad pool caller fix is targeting a driver later in the month, if it doesn't slip.

I wonder if Division 2 will get an official SLI Profile? Div1 had a profile and it scaled beautifully. I'm so happy they added an Apex Legends SLI Profile in the last driver update!

I hope that finally settles my CPU usage during BFV which could lead to the stutters I've experienced but since taking down my CPU OC from 4.4 to 4.0 Ghz, I haven't noticed them as frequent during the last few hours of game play but are still there during a chaotic scene.

About time, I had to revert to .71 anytime I wanted to play Apex, but then go back to .91 to play Battlefield 5.

ManuelGuzmanNVIn our newest driver we are adding support for three additional monitors that have passed G-SYNC Compatible validation. This means there’s no blanking, pulsing, flickering, ghosting or other artificating during VRR gaming. And that the monitors can operate in VRR at any game framerate by supporting a VRR range of at least 2.4:1 (e.g. 60Hz-144Hz), in addition to offering the gamer a seamless experience by enabling VRR by default when the driver is installed and the monitor plugged in.

12 monitors were already rated as G-SYNC Compatible, bringing us to 15 with today’s addition of the:

    Acer ED273 A
    Acer XF250Q
BenQ XL2540-B / ZOWIE XL LCD

If you’re in the market for an entry level VRR experience, the G-SYNC Compatible program gives you a ton of new purchase possibilities, and the knowledge of which monitors will deliver baseline VRR benefits with your GeForce graphics card.

For further info check out our G-SYNC Compatible article, and the complete list of G-SYNC monitors.

Just curious. Do you recommend a clean install?
I've always went with the rule of thumb of only doing that if you're having issues etc to save your game profiles etc.

Up to you, but I always check the "Perform Clean Install" box.

I seem to have had a few problems installing "over the top". At least the problems I was having went away by reinstalling after using DDU in safe mode.

Having Gsync issues. Taken from my post at Geforce.com:

"I have an Asus PG279Q and a 2080Ti. I have been having some issues with Gsync with the last few drivers. The last driver that I tried, I never turned on Gsync. Every time I logged into windows (it would not happen unless I was in Windows) the monitor's red light would come on and the OSD would say that Gsync was enabled. Then, I just installed these drivers (419.35), to see if the problem would go away, but then I now have a new Gsync problem. I have Gsync off (probably won't buy a Gsync monitor again), but if I alt-tab out of BF 5, it comes back on. If I go back to the NV control panel, it still says that Gsync is off.... This is getting REALLY annoying."

Would think it's either the monitor (hope not) or nvidia driver issue or windows issue.

Have you tried using DDU in safe mode to remove all traces of past nvidia drivers and installing the newest drivers?

Time for a fresh install of windows? Those spring and fall updates can cause issues.. fresh install usually is smooth.

No, it is obvious that it is the newest drivers issues, as past drivers did not have this issue and there are more people complaining about similar issues on Nvidia's forums.

Edit: I am NOT reinstalling Windows because Nvidia can't get their drivers straight.

Pretty sure that I will buy AMD next time. Funny how the tables are flipping. I remember when AMD was pumping out junk drivers and lost a lot of respect because of it. Now Nvidia is doing the same. Nvidia is losing a lot of respect for a lot of reasons lately.

Funny you mentioning that. I remember 15 maybe more years ago I was getting a new GPU and at the time from Future Shop and I garbed NVIDIA and tech guy said he used to get AMD but the drivers were screwing things up for many people so he sticks with NVIDIA  now.
Yap what NVIDIA's doing can cause some issues for them, also the ratio of new 2080 failure is pretty high just to get referb replacement I personally was thinking on getting AMD next
