Is Geforce Experience still generally considered crap? Meaning, does the "Game Optimization" still screw up your games?

In my Book it is a No-Go, I only install the Standalone Version to get Game Codes and the Remove it.

+1  I have always had issues with Experience.  Only reason to install is if you have a game code...

If it was easy to block it for Steam, i would do the same thing for it.

Been using geforce experience for years without issue. The new beta has a filter option which is awesome.

I tried to make it work for keeping drivers up to date, but found it too flakey and unreliable. Now back to "manually" checking NVIDIA drivers site to check versions. Every few blue moons the astral bodies align properly to allow Geforce Experience to work, but I'm not that patient.
