Any news of this Driver having the Folding @ Home Hotfix (Bug Fix) Removed? Ref: LinkWhile a slight reduction in performance may be observed, this performance regression should be eliminated when NVIDIA removes the hotfix in forthcoming driver updates.

Not advised for folding. I can't get it to maintain a constant overclock. Was running steady 2050MHZ, now it bounces around 1850!

This is normal and I have seen this on any driver. Each WU can be different and can start at say 2100MHz and then go down to 2088MHz like mine do. I have one that starts at 1999 and drops down to 1974MHz This is on my GTX 1080 Cards my GTX 980 Cards stay at 1506MHz for the most part.

I restarted my computer and it seems to be running better, but still not as good as 378.49(I think is what I was on). Temperature seems to be hotter, but then so is my room. I'll post back in the morning with cool temps again.

Decent driver for Ghost Recon Wildlands tho I get a lot more flickering in SLi versus the older one. Performance wise this is better however.

I just installed this and while the drive is working i almost because two inches taller while sitting writing this as i almost took a dump in my pants when i saw a message saying no GPU detected after a restart. Yes, the driver then installed but for that very short time i almost dumped....now listen Nvidia CUT THIS CRAP OUT right this instant! How about putting a video about these changes so we can see what is going to happen, thus be warned so that normal people don't move the threat level to defcon 1.

This newest driver is garbage! I tested it in 3Dmark Firestrike/TimeSpy, took a 2,000 point loss in Firestrike!!!!Stick with the 372.90 driver its the best one out there so far. If you think this driver is good...... you haven't run benchmarks...... 372.90 result- 16,835- https://www.3dmark.com/fs/11110683The 378.78 pulled a piss poor 14,704- https://www.3dmark.com/fs/11934220....... how messed up is that!!!! Nvidia is not doing well in the driver optimization department these days....

Yes OC, I was running 2050MHZ no issues, 2062 on a cool day. I dropped it down to 2037 and lowered my memory to -223Mhz for kicks(memory was -133 before.
Core 21 WUs.

It looks like you are also Folding on your CPU, you may want to stop Folding on your CPU.

I'm not folding on my CPU, how did you come to that conclusion? I'm guessing you are looking at the low point return projects, those are the failed ones I think...? That's what gave me the heads up to check my system.
So answer to original question about folding on this card: if you have a well working folding driver, stay on it(I don't want to go through the effort to stay on 372.90).
If you have a crappy folding drive, doesn't hurt to upgrade to this one as long as you are mindful of your OC.

Thank goodness for some DX12 optimizations. It simply no where nears it's potential (or NV advertised) cababilities. This is a first step. A lot for driver makers and game/grahics programs are not familiar with it yet either.
Remember DX11 - took quite a while to optimize to reach the, IMO very good levels of graphics it can reproduce. I don't know, but suspect it's going to be quite a long time until DX12 is used to it's potential.

I run Driver 373.06, not 372.90 only an FYI.  For the EVGA 1070 Hybrid you have some really low points, are you running Full or Medium? You do not get credit for failed WUs or at least I have never seen any.

I just installed these a few hours ago, everything was working fine until just a minute ago when my screen started artifacting while just reading the forums. Driver ended up resetting itself to correct the issue.

Can you post your benchmarks that show this and link to them, leave off the http:// form the link and post only /fs/3453535 What Driver are you running and did you use DDU before you installed your GTX 1080Ti Graphics Card?

Driver is working fine for me in games and normal pc stuff (not folding currently)
