I bought new GeForece GT710 video card for GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 motherboard. ALL new parts, new build. The video card was installed into a PCI-EXPRESS 16 SLOT. I forget where I read its supposed to work in that slot. But all that happens when power up computer, The video card fan spins, and the monitor says "NO SIGNAL". I TRIED VIDEO CARD IN ALL 3 PCIE 16 SLOTS. I even tried HDMI cable to a tv with no luck. The mothereboard has NO ONBOARD VIDEO. My next step is to purchase a PCI Express-16 vid card. The mother board lights up when powered up. Could it be incompatability between MOBO and video card?

Try using the DVI port on the card instead of the HDMI port. After the first boot on DVI you should be able to switch back to HDMI.

As suggested above, install the latest BIOS (F13) if needed which will include the Improve VGA card compatibility update in the F5 BIOS..Roll from there..If your current BIOS is older than F5, that may be all that's needed to fix it.
