Hi, so I have had my pc for a little while now, about 2 years with no problems. And just recently when I received my GTX 1050 Ti, I have ran into problems, my monitor isn’t responding. I have been running off of integrated graphics until now and it was working fine. So I thought it was the monitors problem, I plug my monitor into my fathers computer and it works fine, so I thought it had to do with it being Vga to Vga. So I bought a HDMI to dvi, and it still doesn’t work. So I took my graphics card out and it worked. So does anybody have a reason why it won’t work with my graphics card in? If so please let me know how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

Are you plugging the video cable into the display ports on the graphics card or the same ones you were using before?

Cause you need to switch to the display ports on the graphics card.

What motherboard do you have? Does the card receive power when the computer is started?

A 1050 ti should definitely work with that motherboard. Are you running the latest motherboard bios?

Unfortunately not the solution to my problem, but I’m sure it will help in the long run as I jumped up from 1102 to 3001. Thanks anyways, any other ideas?

A88XM is an AMD chipset. I suspect you may have an AMD APU as your CPU, and that APU has integrated R7 graphics enabled in the BIOS.

If so, you may need to disable the integrated R7 graphics in the BIOS, reboot, and then check to see if AMD drivers are still installed. Go to Control Panel in Win10, Programs and Features, and then look for the AMD drivers. Uninstall them, reboot, and then load the proper 1050ti graphics drivers off of www.geforce.com.

I have an MSI A88XM Gaming motherboard, and had this same issue. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Glad to see it was as simple as disabling the igpu.
