You should be able to play any game without GeForce Experience installed.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Unless the game is somehow tied to GeForce Experience and I haven't heard of any.

When you 'Optimize' a game with GeForce Experience (GFE), it changes the game's configuration files..Sometimes even though you 'Optimize' a game with GFE, it has an adverse effect on game performance.

If you 'Optimize' a game with GFE, the game's configuration files remain 'Optimized' and do not change back when you uninstall GFE..So in my opinion it's best to 'Revert' games that have been 'Optimized' with GFE before uninstalling GFE..Otherwise you can normally return the game to default settings within the game settings or the Steam settings after uninstalling GFE without 'Reverting' first.

That's what I noticed the last time I used it..That might have changed now with newer versions of GFE, but probably not.

No game needs GFE to run or update, as far as I know..But certain things need to be done in GFE such as redeeming some free games.

I can confirm, you do not need Gef Exp at all to actually run the game - after you redeem the code.

I would recommend UNinstalling Gef Exp right away. .

As far as I know there is only Multi-Frame Sample AA for games that use MSAA as a setting outside of a given game's settings that if one removed GFE one would need to go into Program Settings within NVIDIA's Control Panel to change it.
