It's always been significantly cheaper in US. We have other advantages though. In Romania I only pay 5 EUR/month for mobile plan with unlimited everything including international data.

Since it was the gas pipeline attack that really started the rise in gas prices I wonder if investments will be made in security for the pipelines before hackers get access to quantum computers. This could happen by a hacker group being state sponsored of course or in the future a hacker group making a lot of money off ransom ware (which will take longer but still would happen over time as they become more common). At that point the all but the best security and encryption would become pretty easy to break.

Here in Western New York its between 2.90 - 3.30 depending on where you go. I have a local car wash places gas card which saves me 10 cents a gallon so the highest ive paid in the last couple months has been 2.80. But i also get a free car wash if i want whenever i go! lol

I haven't driven for years (waiting for a nice electric model) but prices here in NL are ~1.9€/liter of e95/super or about ~7.20€/gallon.

Well under the last Obama/Biden admin we were past $4.
I think we'll see $5-6 with shortages. Build Back Better.
