Hi all,

i have above GFX now since 2016 and i thought its time to apply some new Thermalpaste...(still waiting on 3080 availability -.-)

After i removed the Cooler and the heatshield i found something like liquid on the Thrmalpads for the VRMs etc. is this normal ? i never saw something like this before and iam just wondering if the Thermalpads used by EVGA in the early days are on some oil based liquid or something, its not like water its more like some kind of oily substance...i hope you can see it on the pics.

Yes..Not only in the 'early days', but currently as well, and not only EVGA..It's silicone oil 'sweating/bleeding/wicking' from the pads..It's dielectric (non-conductive), normal and harmless, unsightly at the worst.
