I can tell you after 5 rma's that evga does NOT test their cards they send back.
They just send them if they pass the very old unigen test, and thats it (if they even do a test that is).
Thats not even a real test for newer cards. It may have been back in the day, like 6 years ago, but today it is like running a webpage embedded game and saying its good.
EVGA rma is a joke most of the time, even when they say they are going to 'extensively test the card to make sure its good' . I had that happen, and 2 of 3 dp ports were bad, just the dvi worked, and cards crash, and I even had one that was burnt smelling when I put it in and turned on the computer. A joke indeed.
Since the card is still good, I would go with an aftermarket cooler, or like death said get new fans.
