I can tell you after 5 rma's that evga does NOT test their cards they send back.
They just send them if they pass the very old unigen test, and thats it (if they even do a test that is).
Thats not even a real test for newer cards. It may have been back in the day, like 6 years ago, but today it is like running a webpage embedded game and saying its good.
EVGA rma is a joke most of the time, even when they say they are going to 'extensively test the card to make sure its good' . I had that happen, and 2 of 3 dp ports were bad, just the dvi worked, and cards crash, and I even had one that was burnt smelling when I put it in and turned on the computer. A joke indeed.

Since the card is still good, I would go with an aftermarket cooler, or like death said get new fans.

Now they want me to rma the replacement card and they said they''ll test it. They said all cards are tested prior to shipping. Also, tech support reply once a day so communication is slow. I still have the original card which I need to return to get a refund of the collateral. I would rather they just collect the replacement, give me a refund and I'll take care of the original card.
