I have a Steiger Dynamics PC with a 780 card. After I installed Windows 10 Creators Update My screen had green lines running through it. I rolled back the update and everything seemed fine. Sometime later, after another update I had this happen again which I disabled the card than reinstalled the drivers for that card. On Saturday 9/23/17 I got the lines again and I lost sound on the PC. Never have I lost sound before. Could all of this relate to a failed graphics card? It has me wondering since I purchased this rig in 2013 if it is even worth repairing it.

Uninstall All NVIDIA Software and Drivers, it may take two restarts
Run DDU in Safe Mode Clean Up NVIDIA Drivers and Software and restart.
Install the Driver from above and install ONLY the Graphics Driver and PhysX Driver Nothing Else.
After restart run DDU un Normal Mode and turn back on Auto Driver update.
Turn back on your network and plug in any cables.
Restart your computer install any Inf File for your Monitor or under Device Manager Right Click on Monitor and open it up then righ click on the PNP  Monitor and Click Update Driver.

Do you see the lines when testing all the outputs on the card? If yes, you could try baking the video card in the oven to see if it helps fix the problem.

Note: You want to bake the card with the gpu die facing upward not downward as shown in the photos.

Is the 780 card still under warranty with Evga?

Part of the Driver uninstall for some reason the screen does go black but pressing the enter key is the last step when removing the driver.
