GTX 760 vbios bug in UEFI mode

The PC fails to boot with PCI set to EFI Compatibility ROM.  If I set PCI to Legacy ROM the PC boots. The motherboard is ASUS P8P67 Pro with the latest bios.  I am using Windows 8 "to go" on an USB 3 flash drive which does boot in many different UEFI enabled PCs.
 
The GTX 760 bios level is: 80.04.BF.00.62 (P2004-0010).

    I'd contact EVGA tech support and get another copy of bios and reflash.  I'll try and look up more but that's the best I have off of the top of my head.  EVGA was very helpful with me when I wanted my cards UEFI bios.

    I did send in a request ticket to EVGA.  I'll have to wait for a response.

    Try giving them a call, instead.  Tech support is available 24/7 at (888) 881-EVGA (3842).  That way you won't have to wait for a response.

    I called Tech Support and they are forwarding the ticket to the vbios area for them to look at.

    The last response was that EVGA is working on a fix.

    Still no word from EVGA.  I noticed that many of EVGA newer video cards are not listed as UEFI compatible in the online posted specifications.

    760 should not have any issues with UEFI boot. (770 and 780 have updates to improve compatibility)

    I haven't seen any updates to improve compatibility for the 760.  EVGA indicated that a fix is being worked on but so far no fix.
