My 570 HD is getting quite hot and makes a bit more noise than i'd like so i'd like to put a different cooler on if possible. Does anyone know of one that will fit the HD card? The Thermalright Shaman looks like it might go close to fitting but that's all I can find.

Its not a reference card, so any cooler will need to be made specifically for the PCB.

Is the hole spacing the same as GTX570/580?

Interesting link posted. What is up with the VRM's in this pic? Notice on a reference 570 the regular 4: So the 570 HD has six? They do look smaller though....

Sycksyde Nice, I didn't know about the spitfire but does it fit the 5 series cards? I had a look on the thermalright site but it doesn't say or I missed it.. You need to buy a separate bracket. In fact I just got one in the mail, its the GF100 vga bolt thru kit. It will work for the Spitfire, HR-03 GT, gtx, and Shaman. I think that the Shaman comes with the GF100 bracket. For the vrms and memory enzotech heatsinks work very well. Don't let the size fool you. The little alumimum Mos-c1 worked just as well as a uni-sink on the vrms on my GTX280. Sadly, nothing that I tried worked as well as the stock cooler for the vrms. Maybe if I had used thermal epoxy instead of thermal tape. kody7839 Interesting link posted. They are clearly different so who know which are the higher quality vrms.

I also have a 570 HD, and it's reaching temps of 85C. Thats pretty hot for a brand new card with an older game. I have 4 120MM fans with an added "snakelight" fan blowing on the bottom of the card. EVGA...any suggestions ?

That is normal, most high end cards hit those temps. Have you tried editing the fan profile with Afterburner or Precision? Does precision have this feature?

Just interested in how much difference it made if you have.

No, my GTX570 is on the stock cooler and will probably stay that way since I plan on using sli. I did have an HR-03 GTX on my GTX280 which was also a notoriously hot card and the difference was night and day. With a 1900rpm S-flex the card never got much over 60c even on very hot days, it normally stayed much lower than that. The only downside is that I never found a way to keep the vrms as cool as they stayed on the stock cooler. I think that some enzotech mos c1 heatsinks held on with thermal epoxy may do the trick but that has its own problems.
