Ive had it installed for about a month or so.. Has worked fine with no problems since.....

I went to start it up the other day and can't get any display from the display port.. I tried all 3 DP ports and the hdmi port with no luck... Ive hooked up my Xbox to the monitor with no problems - So, I've ruled out the monitor for now.

Also, I tried the hdmi from my motherboard - No display as well.....

The only thing as of now that I can tell is the front of the 1080TI (EVGA | Gegorce GTX1080TI) will light up real quick, then go away.. This is after I unplug it all then plug it back in..... However, the top of it where is says that lights up in white and is fine, as well as all the lights on fans and everything else..

Im just stumped, any help or direction to narrow some stuff down would be appreciated...

Ive tried unplugging the monitor and shutting it down.....
I even tried the other graphics card slot and the same thing happened....

    Things to try...

#1 Try powering the card with a different set of pci-e power cables.
    #2 Try a different psu.
#3 Try the card in a different computer.

X2. This sounds psu related to me since it doesn’t work in both the gpu and motherboard video ports. Could be the psu is doing its post check and the capacitors are giving and it finds it unsafe to power everything so it cuts power

As Sajin suggested in step 3 try the video card in another PC.

Specs: AMD 1920X Threadripper, Samsung SM961 M.2, 32GB Corsair RGB Vengeance,  ASRock X399 Taichi MB, Corsair 1000D PC case

    Welcome to the EVGA Forums

EVGA 1080 Ti FTW --> model number ?

Try two separate PCIe cables, confirm fully seated
(your picture is not easiest to see details through the side window, looks like a single cable with two 6 + 2 pins ends)

PSU ? ---> if it is NOT single rail design make sure you move the load between two rails

Remove power cord from wall, reseat the GPU and confirm fully locked in place

Brand / model of monitor ? is it set to auto detect or DP input ?

OS? if Win 10 it could have tried to install updates and had issues. DDU in safe mode and reinstall your Nvidia drivers

What happens in safe mode ?

I went out and bought a brand new EVGA psu with all new cables - No luck - Did the same thing.

My brother is planning to come over with his computer and put the 1080TI in his and see what happens.

Back up a second, are you saying that even with the 1080 Ti out of the system you  do not get any display from the motherboard HDMI?

the board sounds fried to me - if you can't get signal from the onboard HDMI out  , you probably have a toasted board.

if you have precision X oc, that is more then likely what is causing the issues with graphics, one way or another, I've had to uninstall it twice, I am not installing it again, I always got errors and or crashes because of it, my card doesn't even overheat after taking precision X oc off, while I play WoT.
I don't regret getting my FTW3 Elite, but I simply don't think Precision X oc will never be good, I can't wait to get a water look and just run MSI's utility.

Ok. First off, I appreciate all the comments and help, I really do.. However - I’m not computer savvy, so dumb down the suggestions as much as possible. Lol.

Now that’s out of the way - My brother put the graphics card in his computer and it worked fine.

So, at this point - I assume it’s the motherboard. If it is that - Which one do you suggest?

    I have 8th gen i7. Windows 10.

Your current board should be under warranty, which board is it? As far as what to recommend it would depend on which options you require: wifi, bluetooth, etc. Also what are your uses for the board:, gaming, OC'ing, folding, etc.
