I had GTX 1080 Classified and just upgrade to a GTX 1080 Ti FTW3.
Before removing the GTX 1080, I used DDU to clean driver and restart the system for GPU change.
I swap the GPUs, everything going ok so far... then installed NVidia latest driver, 384.94, after about 20min, sound of plugin a new device came and the PC freezed, I restared didn't get into Login screen (Win10) did again many times until get Safe Mode, I cleaned the drivers again.
Figured out that, if I uninstall the Intel Graphics Driver my PC runs ok, but then Win10 forces to install it, I tried to download directly from Intel website, but same issue. Now I'm having to Disable the "Microsoft generic adapter" (how windows 10 calls it before becoming Intel Graphics.
What is super weird is that I never had this issue before, first time I'm having it is with the GTX 1080 Ti.
Please any recommendation? Fix?
My rig is: 3770k + Sabertooth Z77, GTX 1080 Ti FTW3.
