Been fairly happy with my 1070 but the noise is really starting to get to me now. It has had a very noticable buzz/hum from the fan as soon as the fan even turns on. I can hear it humming away even over my headphone with the volume turned up.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Case is spotless, temps are good, short of hitting the bearings im not sure what to do.

It's a pritty new development as it used to be almost silent while gaming - now it's just a very noisy reminder of what not to buy. Card is still under limited warrenty according to my EVGA profile.

Kind regards,

Enn

Mind posting a video of the noise?

Remove the card and place it on a flat piece of cardboard face up. Press down on the fan a 5-6 times and let it freely bounce back.

This should re aline the fan barings if there out of place

This has been a solution for some and has been known to work..Removing the card may not be necessary though, just push on the fan..Otherwise, RMA the card if the noise persists or comes back.
