GTX 1070 ACX 3.0 - No display at 3840x2160@60Hz on 4K Tv with HDMI 2.0a

Dear All,
 
I have a GTX 1070 ACX 3.0 edition. I have just purchased a TCL 4k UHD tv with 60hz support. 
 
the max resolution being supported currently is 3840x2160 @ 30Hz. However when I try for 60Hz, the screen goes black. After reset counter, the resolution comes back on @ 30hz. 
The TV has two HDMI options in menu i.e. 1.4 and 2.0 . I have tried selecting 2.0 but as soon as I select, the display goes blank (no signal from source error).
 
I am using a HDMI 2.0a  cable (brand is IBRA). 
 
I am stuck with this, please help!!!

    it is advised to try multiple cables as it sounds like your cable is failing to provide that bandwidth. On the other hand, it could be the display controller in the TV that is causing the issue.
     
    Please be aware that some TV's advertise 60hz at UHD/4k but require lower color settings / chroma of 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 YCbCr and will not support 32 bit RGB color.

    Shielded high quality cables are almost as important as the display you hook the card up to.
