Hi,
I've just bought the card in subject and was pretty sure, it has 0db mode, but see that fans are still spinning at about 35%, what gives some noise.
Is it possible to make the off until the card reaches given temperature, let say 60C?

Thanks.

I have the same card, and unfortunately when I contacted EVGA it seems the 0db mode is only available for the FTW models, and it doesn't seem like there are plans to bring it to the SSC model.

I have the same cooler (1050 SSC) and the card does not seem to have 0dB mode, although the product page states that it does.

Yes, and this is confusing. It's also ridiculous, that cards having such a big cooler, have fans being turn on all the time.

EVGA, any plans to change that sooner or later?

Im assuming you cant really turn them off using a custom fan profile?

Nope. It wouldn't be the problem if card doesn't support 0db mode by default, if I could set ut a custom fan curve and apply it.
The problem is that low fan speed is locked at 35% and you can't go below that value.

I've got used to the completely silent computer at idle, with my previous MSI GTX 950. 1050TI SSC would be perfect card if it had the same option, but...

I really would like not to return the card, but if I can't have the silence I want to, then I'll have no choice.

hmm, thats not cool.  Could it be they do it for a reason.  Its odd they'd allow this function on the hottwe bigger cards and not yours.  Maybe another overclocking tool allows for different controls, like MSI afterburner or something.

I've tried with Afterburner with no luck. I think it's locked (maybe in BIOS) to not go below 35%. I also think it's odd, because this card would handle semi-passive work easily.

I got this same card over the weekend.  Before buying the card, I had read about the 0db mode on EVGA's product page for this model (now I see on the page where it says (Deleted for Foul Language) on select models" in the fine print...but why even talk about the 0db mode if it isn't for this card?)  So when installed the card, I was very surprised when the fan never turned off and was fortunate to find this thread so now I know that I'm not going crazy or that there's something wrong with my own card.  Don't get me wrong, the card performs great and that fans aren't loud or anything...so I'm pretty happy with it so far, but I think EVGA needs to definitely change their product page so they don't mislead any more buyers or provide an updated bios to give the fan a 0db mode.

The 1050 ti ssc is suppose to have 0db operation mode as it uses a acx cooler.

    Hi Sajin,
Do you know, when it is supposed to be released? I assume this will be BIOS update?

    @UP
Unfortunatelly, I returned my card back to the shop so cannot provide it now. Maybe someone from guys here, who own the card, will be able to do this...

Cards with acx coolers shouldn't run the fans when below 60c. You never checked to see what temp the card was running at when you had it?

Yes, I've checked it. In my small, almost non-ventilated case it had something about 35C (when idle), and then fans were locked on 35%. For the load, I don't remember, sorry.

Yeah, my card is definitely running very cool as well.  Precision says the gpu temp is 24°C on mine.  No matter what, the fan doesn't go below 35% and I can see them spinning if I take the side of my case off.  If I set a manual fan curve in Precision, then I can make the fans spin up faster and then the fan speed will obviously show more than 35% in Precision and I can hear them go faster.  Even in the Precision manual fan curve screen, there is a dotted line across the graph at 35% which I assume represents the fact that the card will not go below 35% fan speed.

Guys, one question: if I remove original fans and replace them with my own (2x92mm or one 120mm), will I lost warranty?

No, but you would need to restore the cooler back to original condition before rma'ing in the future if ever needed.

I just purchased my 1050ti ssc acx 3.0 last night and mind does run odb fans not spinning 0 rpm on the tach monitor until 60c which it has only hit once so far. I got it last night late so not much time with it yet but it's weird that your guys isn't working that way.. i was disappointed that the badge didn't light up lol...But it's a great card for the price i wish they would allowed sli with this model..

You have 1050ti SSC, not FTW? If so, was there any update in BIOS settings recently, finally allowing this card work with 0db mode?
Can you please share some screenshots from PrecisionX?

    Thanks

Guys, I refresh the topic: are there any plans for 0db mode on this card? It really lacks this feature, otherwise the card is great.

    Thanks.

Sorry to bump a 1 year old thread, but I was hoping to find a solution for this same issue.

I tried setting up a custom fan profile in Afterburner, but setting the fan speed below 35% doesn't have any effect.  According to the sticker on my card, I have bios version 86.07.39.00.52.

I bought the GTX 1050TI SSC and although I found it a great card, I was disappointed that it doesn't have 0dB mode. I was sure that the GTX 1050TI SSC had 0dB mode, since it uses ACX 3.0 coolers.

I too have a 1050ti SSC, 04G-P4-6255-RX to be exact, and do not have a 0DB profile either.
