    I trust GN so it's sad news to hear. At least the job market is great right now so they should be able to find another job but it's still sad for anyone effected. Looks like Corsair and Asus are the other ones named.

    This is what I was afraid of - the massive product discounts, ending of EVGA Bucks and associate program and the associated payouts, it has been feeling like a liquidation sale, and now they're allegedly laying people off. Not a good sign. Maybe they're just scaling back down to pre-crazy levels... hopefully.

    I would assume their overall revenue has absolutely tanked vs. last year.  Like down 50-80% or something crazy like that.  Plus sitting on a large amount of high end inventory that is soon to be superseded by next gen stuff.  Plus a delayed launch of the 4000 series.  I hope they can get through the tough times with their customer service and product quality intact, and that anyone personally effected gets through it ok.

    The new CEO essentially torpedoed EVGA.  Such a sad moment for a once great company.  There is way more to this story than what we are being told.  Having a grievance with Nvidia is just not cutting it.  Definitely more drama going on here...

    I would agree that there is more to the story than we are being told, but not aware of any new developments.
