Interesting after effect.  I ran a lot of modules in 3D Mark to benchmark, after the install.  Numbers are up across the board, BUT...a lot of flickering in the Time Spy and Time Spy Extreme benchmarks.  DLSS and Port Royal are fine, though.  Not overclocked...

Interesting.  Wonder if it is Nvidia's or UI's fault?  Everything else works perfectly...

Dunno i think is nvidias fault because the flickering is FPS based.
under 30FPS i see no flickering, after 30 it begins to flicker and it goes more and more

    not noticed other problems yet

Note for EVGA Precision X1 users.
If you Right Click on EVGA Precision X1 and Run as administrator the Power Target Settings are Saved.
But under NVidia driver 430.39 it locks up the Desktop the Computer so I recommend not installing this Driver Version.
I have no issues with Driver 425.31 and EVGA Precision X1 - 0.3.15

How can I tell if I'm having the power Target issue?
GPU-Z shows only 100% at 124% but my clocks still boost to the same as 124% on the last version, and my OC settings are still stable, and running the same clocks in game.
Is it possible GPU-Z is just reporting incorrectly with this driver version?
Because for me this driver and 0.3.16 feel great
I had a bios update as well as chipset driver update on the same day, but my average fps in Odyssey went up by 2-3. Until reading this thread I'd been really loving this new driver's performance.

    Same here!

I just upgraded from a GTX 1070 to an RTX 2060 (EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 XC ULTRA GAMING, 06G-P4-2166-RX, 6GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans), and got the flickering. No overclocking.

Went and removed the driver, 430.39, using DDU, and then reinstalled, no changes.

I then uninstalled it once again and installed the previous driver, 425.31, and now no more problems.

Note: The 430.39 driver appears to works OK when running the game Star Citizen.

PS - As a side note, I immediately noticed an improvement running Star Citizen, graphics quality wise, using my new 2060 vs. my old 1070.

We uninstalled 430.39 within 45min after bench scores were down. 419.35 works just fine, but do not run an updated version of Windows on this machine. I am very interested in the May 2019 Win10 Update though. Hope it works out.

Okay going to add my two cents here, with 430.39 I see no flickering using Superposition and the scores are more or less the same as driver 418.81 (Edit: The previous driver I tested with Superposition) and are still a slight increase over 417.22 and older.

Also the functionality of Precision XOC 6.0.9 is unchanged.

If your 3dmark score only increased by 3% then that is within normal variance, and isn't because of the driver update/flickering.
