Hello, I just installed a G5 850W PSU (P/N 220-G3-0850-X1) in my system in anticipation of the 3080 FTW3 Ultra. Now I am currently using the two 8-pin cables that came with it for my 1080ti FTW3 but currently have a spare 8-pin cable that came with my G3 750 (P/N 220-G3-0750-X1) that I had been using for two years. I would need a 3rd 8-pin cable so would I be able to use the cable from my previous PSU with the G5 850?

I just want to be 100% sure.
Thank you for your time.

To add further to this question. On my PSU it has EVGA 1, 2, 3 for GPU power. Which slots would I use first or does it not matter? And will 850w be enough for a 3080/3090 overclocked on an air cooler PC?

Doesn’t matter. Should be enough depending on your setup.

Thank you for the reply. I found the calculator on the other post. And you are correct. Even if the system had the 3090, it would be 130W still in reserve. I guess your only concern would if you were an extreme OC'er. Thanks again.
