I had a few questions regarding some of the concepts around this card and the future of it. There is support for upgrading or rolling OpAmps in the card, will there ever be an official compatibility list for what will be supported? What about providing directly from Audio Note OpAmp upgrade kits?

Will there be any possibility of Mac OS support? There's the old 5.1 Mac Pros that this card could slot into but there's also the possibility that the new modular Mac Pros coming out later this year or next year might support slot extension. Alternatively there's PCIE thunderbolt enclosures that could be used on Mac laptops or iMacs.

I swapped the headphone opamp for Muses2. (JRE Muses) And the card "woke up" :) You could also use it as the Line out OpAmp
love listening to music now. Running Audirvana + Sennheiser 660s & 58x Jubilee
I have lots of High res PCM and DSD stuff. Love it!

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to Opamps. I'm going ahead with the purchase! Thanks for the heads up.

Edit: Ok, asking Burson for the right Opamp for the Line Out. I read it's natural sounding. I don't know.. will research some more just because I can't swap these things out with ease.

I went ahead with the Muses02 after reading the reviews on both Opamps. Seems to cater to my type of music and tube amp use. Will report back after getting it and burn in period.

I love mine (muses02). give it a little time to burn it :)

it's a straight swap. i have it only on the headphone output. I do not use the line out right now so I did not bother with swapping it over there.

just make sure that you purchase Muses02 from a reputable reseller - they are listed on Muses website. because there is A LOT of cheap knock-off versions.

Got the Muses02 from a reseller just like you suggest. It's a waiting game now.
