85% of the world's supply of magnesium comes from China - yet another reason the world needs to be less dependent on one source for goods.

When did China contain all manufacturing, all rare earth metals, and now magnesium?  Did no one realize how bad an idea this was as they were doing it?  No, they were blinded by greed.

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

Magnesium is required for working (and particularly casting of) aluminum into any strong usable form.  Obviously there are varying levels used along with other products, but no one makes a modern car without at least some magnesium used in the manufacturing process.  Good luck finding a new Ford truck at MSRP, is all I'm saying.
(Although why anyone would WANT a ford is beyond me.)

As for the people bringing politics into this thread.  Don't you have a reddit thread for chatting about those conspiracy theories?

The thread alone is political and controversial. Cause and effect, you post political/controversial thread expect the same or a different response.
Besides it was a short discussion that is related to not just the topic of the thread but is related of what is really going on today?
I would have made the same response as you if i was living in lala land or an underground bunker

While I agree there are certain elements at play here, particularly those who are basically buying all the District Attorneys and activist groups in the entire US, I do not for one second believe that having everyone vaccinated = total control. I don't even see how anyone can reach that conclusion, although clearly some can. I would be (and am) far more concerned about the control of information.

No, the fact that there is a magnesium shortage has nothing to do with nutjob blog-o-sphere fantasies.  It's about the market.
You coming here and making it a thread for paranoid conspiracy theories is not the result of my post.  It's the result of your inability to switch off whatever current fake news feed is replaying in your head.

You are.entitled to your opinion and just like i am entitled to mine at the end.of the day is what you and i believe.

    Some good news:

Florida's port are open for business which should alleviate the congestion from the California and New York ports.

Funny how people think there are only ports in FL or on the west coast. I am just a bit away from Savannah GA and we have one of the larger ports on the East coast. Recent pic showed 15 plus ships off of Tybee Island waiting to get into port to unload. News said it was a issue with the ports not being able to unload. A close friend of mine who is a longshoreman says his hours have been cut back and the ships are not getting unloaded at the capacity they could be. Tell me why so many ships are waiting when workers are available to work? My local ports have "day" workers there to make their hours to get in the union. They will work 18 hour days if needed to make their hours. So tell me again why are their ships off shore? BECAUSE THERE IS A BIGGER AGANDIA.

That's disturbing. What is the end game though? Socialist dictatorship?
